NOW one of the leading refrigeration equipment distributors following the acquisition and integration of GH England, Primo Products is set to enhance its position in the market by providing a range of products that will cater for all sectors of the market.
The product arm of the Project First Group, Primo Products Ltd is a manufacturer and importer of remote cabinets, integral cabinets, refrigerated display cases, multi-decks and refrigeration plant.

The company's catalogue includes its own-brand Platinum and Sapphire ranges as well as products from such well-known manufacturers as Caravell, Esta, Mafirol, IARP, Framec Mondial, Samoideo and Misa.

The most recent addition has been the Zircon range - Primo's own-brand of low cost equipment which will include bottle coolers and integral multi-decks. These products, manufactured in China to Primo's specifications, are coming on-stream now and offer customers a high-spec product for less money.

Sales and marketing director Richard Spurgeon added: 'We are very aware of tightening economic situation, with less money potentially being spent within the retail sector, it's therefore important for us to concentrate on the areas where we can add value, such as working with our customers on improving their energy efficiency.'

For the environmentally conscious, and in-line with the renewed interest in CO2 systems, Primo has introduced the Green & Cool CO2 refrigeration plant.

This is manufactured by Swedish company Green & Cool - Scandinavia's top independent manufacturer of this technology, boasting more than 100 successful installations of transcritical CO2 systems throughout Scandinavia and Europe. The new equipment can be designed to the client's specific needs including compressor and heat exchanger preference and the inclusion of heat recovery systems.

To further enhance its CO2 offering, Primo is also in advanced negotiations with a major CO2 retail case supplier in Turkey.
