Mr Weaver joined Cool Projects as an apprentice on 22 August 2016 and has recently passed his City and Guilds Level 2 award in F-Gas and ODS Regulations to become a fully certified service and maintenance engineer.
Having joined the Cool Projects team straight from college, Mr Weaver has been attending site visits and assisting qualified engineers to gain experience. He attends Eastleigh College one day a week where he is studying a two-year Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Diploma. He completed his F-Gas course in five days, passing first time, which now means he can skip this part of his college diploma.
Adam Dyne, Cool Projects managing director explained: “Ross has proven to Cool Projects that he is a hardworking and motivated employee and has a real passion to build his career as a service/maintenance engineer. We are delighted that he has now passed his F-Gas Qualification. He is now an essential part of our engineers team and to recognise this success, Cool Projects has now upgraded Ross with one of our new vans as he is qualified to attend site visits on his own.”
Mr Weaver said: “I am extremely grateful to Cool Projects for giving me this opportunity and I am excited to be part of this close team. To have one of the new company vans is a real honour and I am proud to be representing Cool Projects in a job I love doing”.
