THE F-Gas regulations, its effectiveness and the options available to engineers who have not yet applied for certification is a key subject for debate in London HEVAR 2010's seminar programme.
Taking place on September 22-23 at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria, London HEVAR is the main event for buyers, specifiers and consultants in the UK's heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration industries.
Within HEVAR's free seminar programme, Graeme Fox the president of AREA, will present:
the most up-to-date results of research into how effective the EC842/2006 regulation has been to date;
where emissions have been reduced, by how much and could we do better?
The seminar will be an opportunity for industry to register their response to the European Review to ensure contractors and end users are effective in implementing the regulations.
In addition, F-Gas training firm Business Edge Ltd will be updating visitors about the practical issue of training and certification:
How to become F Gas Registered,
Covering the costs involved
The differences between Construction Skills (previously CITB) and City & Guilds courses.
Seminars at HEVAR aim to educate and inform and the organisers are once again working with the HVCA (Heating and Ventilation Contractors Association) who will also focus on the implications of F-Gas Regulation in a dedicated session entitled Safe and Sound - how health and safety regulation is driving building service engineering.
All F-Gas related seminars take place on the first day of London HEVAR - September 22, 2010. To register to attend the free building services exhibition, visit
