HEAT PUMP seminars and F-Gas talks from leading air conditioning experts will feature at Manchester HEVAR 2009, which starts tomorrow.
ACR professionals can visit the heat pump zone at Manchester HEVAR (January 28-29) and attend two seminars on heat pump technology at its Lancashire county cricket club venue.
Introduced by Tony Bowen, the president of the Heat Pump Association, the topics to be discussed at Manchester HEVAR's heat pump seminar covers heat pump types, how they work, CO2 emissions, grants, legislation and training.
A morning seminar session on Wednesday, January 28, will be repeated at 2pm.
Complimenting the heat pump talks will be the presence of heat pump and acr suppliers on the exhibition show floor.
On Wednesday, January 28, Graham Hendra,
the managing director of LG Air Conditioning, will present a seminar at 1.30pm on How to minimise the efficiency of a VRF system through design and installation.
On Thursday, January 29 at 12.45 Mike Nankivell business and development and marketing manager for Space Air Conditioning, will give a talk on air conditioning inspections - Article 9 of the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive.
Mike Creamer of training provider Business Edge will speak about F-Gas training. Business Edge training manager Kelvin Kelly will present a seminar on F-Gas Regulation.
