Eurovent to merge activities with CERTITA

BRUSSELS: Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment certification body Eurovent has anounced that it is to merge some of its activities with French heating product certification body CERTITA.
A statement from Eurovent says that the intention of the signatories is to develop the proposed certifications, in line with the services already provided, with the marks NF, CSTBat and Eurovent certification, while enlarging the scope of products dealt with and increasingly operating at an international level. A full service would be proposed, expected to be better suited to the specific background of each country regarding voluntary certification of performance for HVACR products.

CERTITA is mainly involved in the fields of heating with its NF mark for radiators, heat pumps, solar and mechanical ventilation and CSTBat mark for solar devices and air inlets.

The main activity of Eurovent is the European certification of performances of hvacr products.
