EUROPE: The long awaited Eurovent certification parameters for VRF air conditioning is now in place and manufacturers are now invited to join the programme.
After nearly two years work, the launch committee has finally approved the operational manual and rating standards for this significant product sector. The launch committee was made up of eight manufacturing companies, not named by Eurovent, but thought to include Daikin, Toshiba, Climaveneta, LG and Samsung.
There is no deadline as this is a voluntary registration but test reports are scheduled to be made available to participants before September 30 2013, this date also being the deadline for Eurovent Certification to publish certified performance for the full scope of the programme.
