The move significantly expands Epta’s industrial and geographic footprint across Europe, particularly in the DACH region and Central and Eastern Europe. Hauser operates production sites in Austria and the Czech Republic and has an established presence in turnkey projects and service-led refrigeration solutions.
Epta said the integration strengthens its position as a full-line provider, covering design, manufacturing, installation and after-sales support for commercial refrigeration systems.
Marco Nocivelli, CEO of Epta, described the acquisition as “a key milestone” in the company’s long-term strategy. “Crossing the €2?billion revenue threshold reflects the strength of our industrial model and reinforces our leadership in Europe,” he said. “By combining competencies and scale, we enhance our ability to advance sustainable and digital innovation. The acquisition of Hauser strengthens our offering across the value chain and consolidates our position in natural refrigeration and energy efficient solutions.”
Hauser CEO Thomas Loibl said joining Epta provides the company with a stable platform for further expansion. “With a global partner that shares our values, Hauser is well positioned to consolidate its footprint and continue delivering long-term value to customers,” he said. “This step supports sustainable growth and international development in a changing market.”
