Since its launch in 1998, Embraco has sold over 11 million Fullmotion compressors worldwide.
Embraco has announced that by 2015 it will increase global production of Embraco Fullmotion technology compressors by around 140%.
To meet demand, the company will invest in its production facilities in Italy and China. This strategy will ensure faster response to global customers’ needs, strengthen its presence in the Europe and Asia Pacific regions and ensure its global competitiveness.
The Embraco Fullmotion compressor is capable of reducing the energy consumption of refrigerators and freezers by up to 25% compared to conventional on-off technology.
By increasing the supply of compressors with Embraco Fullmotion technology worldwide, the company says it is helping the industry to meet increasingly demanding energy efficiency regulations. In EU countries the refrigeration sector is working to meet standards that require up to a 20% reduction of the product’s current energy consumption by 2020.
Managing director of Embraco Italy, Giuseppe Daresta, said: 'We decided to increase this line’s production in Italy because we understand that the country is a strategic location to serve our customers in Europe.
