ACR News is delighted to announce that top comedian and television personality Ed Byrne will be hosting the 2017 ACR News Awards.

Mr Byrne is one of the UK’s top live acts, and one of the hardest working. As well as sell-out runs in Edinburgh and the West End, he has also firmly established himself on the international circuit. He regularly performs at Montreal’s ‘Just For Laughs’ and in front of capacity audiences everywhere from Paris to Vegas to Sydney. 
Mock the Week’s most frequent guest, Mr Byrne – along with his friend Dara O’Briain have also travelled around South America in their Big Adventure for BBC Two. 

As well as appearing on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie to You?, and a whole host of panel shows, Mr Byrne also been a regular on the US talk show Late Night with Conan O’Brien. 
He has gone on to play a number of other roles in film and television - though to many he is still remembered as the voice of Carphone Warehouse commercials.

On 23 March at the exclusive Chelsea Harbour Hotel, Mr Byrne will be entertaining the acr industry as well as presenting the twelve hotly contested categories.
