GERMANY: Dr Frank Rinne has joined compressor manufacturer Emerson Climate Technologies as director of application engineering. For the last six years, Dr Rinne has been technical programmes manager EMEA at refrigerant manufacturer DuPont.
He replaces Dr Eric Winandy who takes over responsibility for the Integrated Solutions group, developing new solutions for customers and end-users of Dixell, Alco and Copeland brand products.
Dr Rinne's responsibilities range from engineering support at customers' sites, application analysis, training and technical literature including the company's Select software. These services cover both compressors and Alco controls.
