The Voiles du Froid sailing event brings together refrigeration and air conditioning professionals from across Europe. This year it marked its 25th anniversary as it set off from the shores of Côte d'Azur in southeastern France, towards the island of Saint Marguerite.
Dehon Group and Climalife, the hosts of the event, welcomed 21 sailing teams of around 180 enthusiastic, committed and passionate sailors from France, UK, Spain, Germany, Benelux, Russia and, for the first time, China. Team work, problem-solving and trust were essential as they raced through the Mediterranean Sea with strong team spirit.
This year, the Climalife UK team was represented by 14 sailors which included both staff and customers. Split between two boats, the Climalife UK team had the chance to bond with partners and clients in a competitive and motivating setting.
Allan Harper, managing director at Climalife UK, commented: “It is unmistakably the most adventurous industry event that goes far beyond any internal or external communication. I was very pleased with our results and we look forward to competing again in next year’s event.”
