Dean & Wood absorbs TT-Coil
[firstParagraph]
REFRIGERATION and air conditioning wholesaler Dean & Wood has taken over the business of Hampshire-based heat exchanger
Both companies are part of the Swedish Beijer Ref Group, and Dean & Wood would now be responsible for supplying AIA dry cooler units and air cooled condensers, plus new and replacement coils and spare parts for TT-Coil products.
'We have been working on the merger for nearly a year as this is a natural progression that fits comfortably with our core business,' said Dean & Wood business development manager John Smith. 'Dry air coolers are a new area for us, but many of our existing customers also operate in this market so we will now be able to offer them a more complete package.
'We have been training our technical support team on the new product range, but because of their extensive background in refrigeration and air conditioning equipment we anticipate a smooth transition,' he added.
TT-Coil in Denmark will continue to deal direct with UK customers for design and supply of specialist heat exchangers.
The TT-Coil business was already operating from Dean & Wood's Eastleigh office and with the retirement of its technical sales representative Tony Kemp, the decision was made to fully integrate the two businesses.
Dean & Wood will be offering full equipment design and selection, supply and technical support to contractor customers.
