At this years’ Chillventa exhibition, Danfoss puts the spotlight squarely on the main challenge for the cooling industry in the coming years and decades: How to reduce the emission of harmful gases without compromising wellbeing, efficiency and commercial growth.
When visiting Danfoss at Chillventa, professionals from all over the world will experience a range of new products and technologies. These range from industrial refrigeration valves and total store management solutions for the food retail industry, to the latest in compressor technology and online tools. All the new products and technologies, however, have one thing in common: Their focus on sustainability and compliance with the demands of tomorrow.
The Danfoss stand is divided in six different areas, making it easy for visitors to navigate the many possibilities and applications: Precision cooling and heating, commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, food retail, an area dedicated to contractors and wholesalers, as well as an area focusing on all the future challenges for the industry. In each area, visitors can take a closer look at the energy efficient products and solutions, and meet Danfoss experts, who are ready to offer advice and guidance on the refrigerants and technologies of today and tomorrow.
Torben Funder-Kristensen, head of public & industry affairs at Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Controls, said: “With refrigeration and air conditioning consuming 5% of the world’s total energy expenditure, it’s obvious to us that even small steps in the right direction can make an awful lot of difference. The use of low GWP refrigerants such as ammonia and CO2 in refrigeration will rid the environment of gases with high global warming potential.
“It will also push us into new innovative solutions and take us a step further in exploring the potentials in energy efficiency. That’s what we’re showcasing at Chillventa.”
Danfoss is also taking part in the Chillventa congress program with a total of 16 lectures on subjects ranging from a novel design principle for electric expansion valves to talks about new trends, sustainability and the F-gas regulations.
For Danfoss, Chillventa 2014 will also be the world premiere of a new visual identity, and the visitors can look forward to a brand new stand design.
