DANFOSS Refrigeration and air-conditioning has bought 100% shares in Necos, the Italian manufacturer of HVACR electronic controls.
Speaking at a press conference at Chillventa yesterday, (October 15), Kjell Stark, md of Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning announced the Necos shares had been bought on October 6.
ACR News previously reported on Danfoss' move to buy up 25% of Necos shares last June.
Necos, based in San Vendemiano, near Venice, Italy, was founded in 2004 and has 13 employees.
Danfoss, supplier of compressors and automated solutions to the refrigeration and air conditioning industries, made the deal to expand its product range of controls within the air conditioning market.

The current managing director of Necos Electronic Controls & Solutions Mauro Sordini, now heads up the new-acquired Danfoss company and reports to Kjeld Kückelhahn.
