DAIKIN'S unusual 'sylvan glade' exhibition stand at last year's Chillventa exhibition has won a prestigious international design award.
The Red Dot award for Event Design was made by the renowned German design institute Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen for Daikin's stand which was made almost exclusively from untreated and reusable materials.
The 460m2 stand created by the Japanese air conditioning manufacturer's German subsidiary created a talking point at last October's exhibition in Nuremberg with its use of natural materials such as grass, bark, moss, trees and stone.
