Daikin UK gains Carbon Trust accreditation again

Daikin UK has achieved Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier status for the second consecutive year.

Daikin UK has achieved Carbon Trust Accredited Supplier status for the second consecutive year.

The scheme recognises high quality energy efficient equipment and renewable technology suppliers and offers independent validation and recognition of a supplier’s skills and services.

Legislation specialist, Graham Wright (pictured), said: “Upholding the trusted and high standard of a Carbon Trusted Accredited Supplier is very important to Daikin UK. It not only sets us apart in a competitive marketplace but sends a clear signal to contractors and specifiers that our HVAC systems are at the cutting edge of low carbon technological innovation and are proven to be energy efficient.”

He continued: “Sustainability is at the core of what we do here at Daikin and that message is integrated at every level of our business - as witnessed by our upcoming Future Thinking CPD series, taking place in February and March 2016.”

Future Thinking 5, Mind The Performance Gap will have a guest speaker from the Carbon Trust at each of the ten seminars to be hosted across the UK. The CPD will explore why and how there is a divergence between the anticipated performance of buildings at the design stage and the completion stage, while proposing environmentally responsible solutions to close this gap.”
