Daikin UK appoints new commercial director

Daikin UK has appointed Iain Bevan as its new commercial director for Heating and Renewables.

Bringing more than seven years experience within Daikin UK to his new role, Mr Bevan will be responsible for growing the company’s domestic heating business.

Initialy joining Daikin UK in 2010 as national sales manager for Renewable Heating, Mr Bevan held responsibility for delivering the UK sales strategy. Having managed the company’s sales team and customer queries, he has extensive knowledge of the renewable and domestic heating market.

Prior to joining Daikin UK, Mr Bevan spent 12 years at heating manufacturer, Valliant, where he was divisional sales manager. He then went on to oversee his own company, GLT Services, in 2008.

Mr Bevan is now responsible for driving forward and directing Daikin UK’s product development, marketing and sales strategy.

He commented: “Now is the ideal time to discover renewable heating technology as product innovation continues to develop increasingly energy efficient and sustainable solutions.

“Directing Daikin UK’s established and technically knowledgeable sales team, I’m looking forward to expanding the company’s specification and installer network, to ensure that as the heating sector evolves, Daikin’s range of Altherma heat pumps are at the forefront of the industry.”
