After visitors have marvelled at the wonders of the seven continents and are feeling inspired to help protect the planet, Daikin invites visitors to join them at The Daikin Climate Zone, to learn more about how Daikin can help you manage your home more sustainably.
As well as offering activities, games and artwork designed to engage children in sustainability, the Daikin Climate Zone gives visitors the opportunity to discover how they can reduce their carbon footprint and find out more about how sustainable air source heat pumps can help through a range of interactive digital tools and videos.
For those who would like to know more, the Daikin Climate Zone team will also be on hand to discuss every aspect of making the switch to a heat pump, answer questions about the technologies and provide information on the financial support available to homeowners.
Giulia Kapp, head of communications and marketing at Daikin UK commented: “It feels fantastic to bring The Daikin Climate Zone to life, and give people the space to engage with a low carbon vision of the future - one that is kinder to both the environment and your pocket.
“Through sponsoring the venue hosting the BBC Earth Experience, we have a fantastic opportunity to inspire visitors with our vision of creating a better world for future generations. Some may already understand the importance of reaching net zero at a national level, but perhaps don’t know they can play their part, simply by choosing a different way of heating and cooling their homes with a low or zero carbon system.
“We hope that by creating an accessible space for people to learn more about heat pumps, they can appreciate the benefits for themselves. I’d encourage anyone who is curious about reducing their environmental impact to come along and see how Daikin can provide low carbon solutions for every climate.”
The Daikin Climate Zone forms part of Daikin’s sponsorship of The Daikin Centre, a new 1608m2 venue which houses the BBC Earth Experience.
Through the sponsorship, Daikin is seeking to educate visitors on the benefits of low-carbon heating and cooling solutions and demonstrate its commitment to lowering the carbon footprint of UK homes and buildings.
