The new company sits within a wider Core structure that now comprises Core M&E Maintenance, Core Technical Services and Core Interiors. Together, the three divisions cover building services maintenance, design, refurbishment and interior fit-out activity.
Core M&E Maintenance delivers mechanical, electrical and air conditioning services across London and the surrounding areas. Following the demerger, it has taken responsibility for an existing portfolio of HVAC and building services maintenance contracts and will continue to deliver selected project-based fit-out work for established customers. Its operations span ongoing maintenance and technical services for both in-house and third-party installations, as well as project-based mechanical and electrical fit-outs, including HVAC and air conditioning systems.
Managing Director Steve Braddick, formerly head of IMMTS, said the separation allows each division to focus on its defined remit. He noted that the Core structure provides clearer delineation of services across maintenance, design and interiors, supporting clients through different stages of the building lifecycle.
Core M&E Maintenance will continue to work with its existing customer base while engaging with organisations seeking an engineering-led approach to HVAC maintenance, compliance and system performance.
