Burnley-based CoolKit Ltd supported Lancashire Day last week by providing refrigerated transport for the county’s top award-winning chefs and food producers, as they headed to London to prepare a five-course feast for top food writers, critics and industry insiders, organised by Marketing Lancashire.
Burnley-based CoolKit Ltd supported Lancashire Day last week by providing refrigerated transport for the county’s top award-winning chefs and food producers, as they headed to London to prepare a five-course feast for top food writers, critics and industry insiders, organised by Marketing Lancashire.
The event, which took place at the exclusive IceTank venue in Covent Garden on 17th November, aimed to showcase Lancashire’s strengths as a culinary destination. It was part of Marketing Lancashire’s #LancashireDay and celebrations will culminate on the day itself, 27th November.
CoolKit provided refrigerated transport for the event to ensure all food ingredients were of the same quality when they arrived in London as when they left Lancashire.
The five award-winning chefs cooking were Lisa Allen, head chef of Michelin starred Northcote, Maurizio Bocchi from La Locanda, Chris Bury from the Cartford Inn, Stosie Madi from The Parker’s Arms and Steven Smith from the Freemason’s Arms at Wiswell.
