Coolair Equipment has £100,000 HQ makeover

Air conditioning installation specialist Coolair Equipment has given its Manchester head office a £100,000 makeover.

The 38-year-old company has refurbished its premises at Coolair House in Globe Lane, Dukinfield, where it has been headquartered since 2006, to create an enhanced environment for staff and clients.

Coolair Equipment has also taken occupancy of both floors of the two-storey building, having previously occupied only the first floor, to help raise customer service to even higher levels.

The firm’s reception has been moved to the ground floor to provide a bright and friendly welcome and to showcase the company’s accreditations, while the boardroom and meeting room are now positioned in a dedicated space alongside it away from the main office operation upstairs.

In a major customer service development, Coolair has also kitted out a dedicated space on the first floor to accommodate a new aftersales department that will go live later this summer.

The makeover has included a full external refurbishment of the building, including the complete cladding of the upper level and the painting of outdated brickwork and window frames to match.

The project, which was managed and coordinated by Coolair northern regional director, Steve Valentine, and carried out by long-serving local business partner RRW Holding Company, also included fitting new carpets and blinds throughout and installing a new kitchen.

Helen Sharratt, finance director of Coolair Equipment, which also has offices in the Midlands and Kent, said: “We are passionate about our local roots and want to replicate our continued growth as one of the UK’s leading air conditioning companies by providing an exciting new look to our headquarters. The investment provides us with the capabilities and environment to keep pace with and help nurture this growth.”

A specialist provider of tailored cooling and heating services to the retail, residential, commercial, education and hotel sectors, Coolair Equipment was recently awarded Cyber Essentials Plus certification in recognition of achieving the highest levels of protection against cyber threats.

The company was also awarded the coveted status of Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Quality Partner last year by one of its major business partners.
