The paparazzi were out in force on the red carpet Wednesday night snapping the great and the good from the acr industry who gathered for the 2009 ACR News Awards.

More than 500 members of the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry wined, dined and laughed their way through the night on February 25 with tv comic Hugh Dennis.

And finally the event, held at Birmingham's Motorcycle Museum, all led up to a series of envelope ripping... and announcements that the proud winners are.....

All in all the winners received their awards without breaking down like Kate Winslet.

ACR News editor Neil Everitt said: 'It was a great evening and I'd personally like to congratulate the winning companies on their success. Now we must start preparing for the next event in 2011'.
