Concentra at centre of ac crash investigation
An ac unit was being lifted by a tower crane onto a building site several floors above street level when it crashed down onto the street hitting a woman as she stood at a bus stop in York Road.

Police cordoned off York Road (near Waterloo station) shortly after the incident at 9.30am at the Prospect House building on Friday, September 26. A spokesman for the Health and Safety Executive said 'We are still investigating the incident'.

Concentra is the rebranded name for contracting services firm Durkan Pudelek. All a spokesman from Concentra would say was 'We are working with the HSE to try to establish what happened'.

The woman was taken to King’s College Hospital to be treated for head injuries. On September 29 (Monday lunchtime) her condition was described as 'not life-threatening'.
