CMP doubles capacity

CMP Corp, the US-based manufacturer of OEM hvac and refrigeration parts, has announced the launch of CMP Custom Manufacturing dedicated to creating specialty compressor parts. The new division will include advanced machinery, highly-trained staff and an additional 40,000 sq ft of manufacturing space.


'Our extensive list of fabrication machinery, engineering capabilities and fully certified inspection lab and quality control centre helped us make the move into the custom manufacturing arena,' said Ben Harrison, president and coo of the Oklahoma-based company.

'By acquiring Glenn Tool of Oklahoma City, a well-respected custom manufacturing company founded in 1971, we increased our capabilities, expanded our manufacturing space to 80,000 sq ft, and extended our service markets to include the oil, medical, and electronic industries, among others.'
