Climate Center extends Daikin UK deal to include VRV

NATIONWIDE wholesaler Climate Center has extended its air conditioning supply agreement with Daikin UK to include its VRV systems. The move builds on the wholesaler partnership agreement the companies signed in 2008 for Daikin's Split and Sky Air systems.
Climate Center's technical sales teams are said to have completed comprehensive training in VRV technology to provide them with the necessary system design and product selection knowledge. The move opens up opportunities for Climate Center in supplying equipment for medium and large-scale projects.

Commenting on the deal, Ian Carroll, who heads up Climate's air conditioning business, said: 'We are excited about the opportunities it opens up for us, and are already in advanced discussions on a number of prestigious projects.'

Julian Brunnock, Daikin UK Business Development Manager, added: 'The addition of the VRV range marks a positive change in our joint ambitions, and we believe it offers tremendous potential for both companies for the future.'

Daikin VRV products will be available from Climate Center's branches alongside existing air conditioning ranges from Fujitsu and Toshiba.
