CIBSE takes fresh look at refrigeration issues

A one day refrigeration conference promises to deliver its visitors the tools, techniques and legislation on refrigeration in the new year.
The CIBSE conference called 'Refrigeration - Optimising refrigeration systems' takes place on January 21 and will impart wisdom to
its visitors including how to improve sustainability through low carbon cooling systems and what F Gas legislation means and what practical methods can be used to reduce refrigerant leakage.

The conference will also explore the role of cooling systems in preventing Legionnaires' disease, how system performance monitoring can optimise efficiency, what opportunities are available with the developments of new refrigerants and how system specifications meet legislative requirements.

The conference held from 9.30am-5.10pm at CIBSE's Balham office will be of particular interest to building service engineers, operations directors, developers, facility managers and heating and ventilation contractors.

Those keen to hear about the latest technologies and techniques in the advancement of refrigeration systems can book a place at the event by emailing events@cibse.org.
