The PEP Ecopassport program is a globally recognised environmental declaration initiative designed for electrical, electronic, and HVAC equipment, recognised and certified under ISO 14025, 14040 and 14044 standards. It is a voluntary program developed by the P.E.P. Association; a non-profit organisation dedicated to developing the Environmental Declaration Program PEP Ecopassport internationally. The program provides a standardised framework for assessing and communicating the environmental performance of products, enabling customers to make informed decisions based on transparent and reliable data.
The CIAT Floway, Vectios, CLIMACIAT Airaccess and Airtech, AQUACIATPOWER ILD R-32, Coadis Line 600/900, Melody 2, Major Line and COomfort Line ranges underwent a rigorous evaluation process, including a comprehensive life cycle assessment (LCA), to meet the stringent requirements of the PEP Ecopassport program. The LCA evaluated various environmental aspects, such as resource consumption, energy efficiency, and waste generation, from the extraction of raw materials to the end-of-life disposal of the products.
“Earning the PEP Ecopassport declaration on such a broad range of our products demonstrates our commitment to eco-design principles and sustainable manufacturing practices,” said Daniel Wood, Head of Sales for CIAT UK & Ireland. “It also represents a powerful indication of our ongoing efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of our products and our contribution to a more sustainable future for the HVAC industry and beyond.”
The PEP Ecopassport declaration validates CIAT's environmental performance and assures customers that they choose products that align with their sustainability objectives. This recognition further strengthens the company’s position as a trusted partner for environmentally conscious customers seeking high-quality HVAC solutions.
