CDL's (Cool Designs Ltd) managing director, Darrel Birkett, and sales engineer, Chris Oldroyd, recently took part in a tandem skydive, raising £855 for The Newcastle Chronicle's Sunshine Fund.
The charity provides specialised equipment to children with disabilities in the North East of England. Individuals, groups, registered organisations, special and mainstream schools and hospitals can ask for the Sunshine Fund's support to improve the lives of children with disabilities.
In another charitable initiative, GB Olympic and England hockey goalkeeper, George Pinner, has signed and presented his Olympic shirt to CDL to help with a fundraising event for a mens' cancer charity.
The shirt, along with many other signed items from sports personalities and other celebrities, will be auctioned on eBay.
Darrel Birkett said: 'We believe it is important to give something back by supporting a local charity in every area where we have an operational location. In this case, it is Glasgow and we sponsored the 2013 Cahonas Scotland Male Cancer Charity Ball in November.
