This year’s theme, 'Safe and Sustainable Futures', brought together leading voices in building services engineering to explore the critical challenges and opportunities shaping the sector, including safety, sustainability and compliance.
As a sponsor and active participant, Carrier showcased some of its latest intelligent climate solutions, including the new AquaSnap 61AQ heat pump and its range of airside solutions, such as advanced air handling units, rooftop systems, and fan coil units.
Attendees visiting Carrier’s stand learnt more about how these innovations are engineered for high performance, improved energy efficiency and can enhance indoor environments, with a constant focus on indoor air quality (IAQ).
“People spend up to 90% of their time indoors – in homes, offices, schools, hospitals and public transport hubs,” said Dan Wood, Head of Sales, Carrier Airside. “Sustainable, well-ventilated buildings support physical health and enhance cognitive function, mental well-being and productivity. IAQ is growing in importance as building owners and facility managers face increased scrutiny over the health impacts of the indoor environment.”
Steven Macmillan, Area Sales Engineer for Scotland, Carrier Airside, said, “We’re here to help demonstrate how our sustainable heating solutions can address today’s carbon challenges while keeping in mind our innovative airside products. We continue to meet IAQ concerns through advanced ventilation, HEPA filtration and smart monitoring technologies. Our range of intelligent airside solutions is designed to address these concerns head-on.”
