Carrier Solutions UK hosts customers at Japan factories

Carrier Solutions UK recently hosted a trip to its factories in Japan for a group of its top customers and partners. The visit was organised to showcase how Carrier’s products are made.

The five-day trip included tours of the Fuji and Tsuyama factories, where the Toshiba HVAC products and the new USX Edge heat pump are manufactured. The group, which included representatives from key distributors such as Cool Designs, Hushon, DYSK, and Cool Solutions Distribution, also had the opportunity to learn about the manufacturing process.

“The Tsuyama site, where the USX Edge is made, was a real highlight,” said Dave McSherry, Sales Director, Carrier RLC UK.. “This wasn’t your average factory tour. Our visitors were genuinely impressed with the scale, sophistication and efficiency of the operation. Seeing the USX in production provided a new appreciation for its quality and the engineering
behind it.”

The trip also included cultural activities in Tokyo, which helped strengthen relationships amongst the attendees. “This trip was an investment in our customer relationships,” McSherry
concluded. “Events like this underline the value we place on collaboration. Especially for distributing partners like CDL, CSD and Hushon, who’ve been in partnership with
us for over 20 years. These experiences build connection, confidence and momentum for the future.”
