Carrier sells Europe's Sutrak bus ac business

CARRIER has sold its Sutrak bus air conditioning business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as operatons in India and Mexico to German company J Eberspacher GmbH.
Carrier's other bus air-conditioning operations are not part of the transaction.

Sutrak has manufacturing operations in Germany and Spain. The divested businesses combined had sales of approximately $90m and more than 200 employees.

Carrier president Geraud Darnis said that the transaction was a continuation of the company's strategy to focus on its core growth platforms.
