Carrier sells CCAC to Filipino firm

CARRIER has sold its controlling stake in Concepcion Carrier Air Conditioning (CCAC) to its Filipino joint venture partner Concepcion Industries.
CCAC (established in 1998) is the residential air-conditioning industry leader in the Philippines and will continue distributing Carrier commercial products in the Philippines.

'This transaction marks another step on our path to a simpler and more focused portfolio', said Geraud Darnis, president, Carrier Corp.
