Held on Saturday 21 June, the exclusive hospitality day gave 40 Carrier employees from across the new equipment, service and rental business units the opportunity to each bring a guest along to enjoy the high-octane atmosphere of a BTCC qualifying day. Attendees experienced premium hospitality throughout the day, with a chance to watch live practice and qualifying sessions and get a close-up view of the MB Motorsport garage and cars now running on sustainable fuel – a powerful alignment with Carrier’s focus on reducing carbon emissions and leading the transition to more sustainable operations.
Carrier’s Rental team had particular interest in the afternoon as they had created a temporary air conditioning solution for the hospitality areas, providing a comfortable environment for guests throughout the day on what was one of the hottest days of the year so far.
“We had a fantastic day at Oulton Park with our colleagues, friends and family,” said Andrew Paddock, Managing Director, Carrier Commercial HVAC UK and Nordics. “This event was a brilliant opportunity to show appreciation for our team, build stronger connections and celebrate our values. It’s just one of the ways we’re making Carrier a great place to work, one that recognises contribution, supports inclusion and creates moments that matter.”
The day was also an opportunity to celebrate 10 of Carrier’s field technicians, who were invited as a special thank you for their hard work and dedication, a timely gesture ahead of Carrier’s Global Tech Day, celebrated on 23 June.
“It’s always a pleasure to welcome Carrier trackside, and this weekend was no exception,” said Mark Blundell, Sporting Director of MB Motorsport. “Having so many of their team, friends and family join us in the paddock made for a fantastic atmosphere. We’re grateful for their continued support as an MB Motorsport Partner, and it’s been exciting to see this partnership grow, especially with the Carrier Rental team, whose air conditioning solution was the talk of the paddock all weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing how we can continue to build on this collaboration at future race events.”
