Carrier Corp. buys Georgia Chiller

Air-conditioning manufacturer Carrier Corp. has acquired US-based ac contractor Georgia Chiller Services.
The firm specializes in the maintenance of commercial applied equipment, including cooling towers but will now operate under the Carrier Commercial Service brand effective immediately.

Georgia Chiller has 14 employees and provides HVAC services to universities, hospitals, and property management firms in the Atlanta area.

The acquisition was completed on February 12 for an undisclosed sum.

'We're pleased to add Georgia Chiller to the Carrier Commercial Service network' said Guy Colglazier, vice president and general manager of Carrier Commercial Service.

'Their knowledge of the local market and expertise in servicing commercial applied equipment will help us provide greater value to our customers'
