CARRIER has acquired the UK controls businesses of the i2S Group: DMS Controls, Ltd, ESL, Ltd and i2S Service Ltd. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Together, the i2S companies design, install and service complete building management systems, primarily for commercial offices.

'The acquisition of i2S Group's controls business further enhances Carrier's building management systems capabilities in Europe,' said David Appel, president, Carrier Europe Middle East Africa HVAC.

'This will enable Carrier to provide a comprehensive set of products and services to meet its customers' needs for ease of control and energy savings,' said Obafemi Gboyega, md, Carrier UK.
