LESS than six months after its bid for independence, refrigeration equipment supplier Caravell UK has launched a new range of 'price-competitive products' and expects to have a further £6m distribution agreement in place by the end of this month. The Buckingham-based company successfully completed a £9.8m MBO from its Danish parent company on March 1.
Speaking at the launch of the 'no-frills' product range,
Caravell UK's md John Lougher said 'Our rece management buy-out has given us the freedom and independence to decide our own strategy and to choose where we source our ranges.'
The new Scanfrost range includes the Silverline Collection of stainless steel catering products with units such as single- and double-door refrigeration cabinets, bottom-mounted cabinets, a compact food-to-go counter and double- or triple-door saladette counters. Also included is a range of chilled display cabinets comprising compact and upright impulse
display chillers and bottle coolers; back bar chillers in a full range of sizes, a dual-zone wine chiller, serve-over and multi-deck display cabinets. Patisserie cabinets, ice makers and a range of chilled and frozen storage units in white or stainless steel complete the line-up.
