Camfridge enters Cleantech 100

CAMFRIDGE has been named in the Cleantech 100 list, as one of Europe's leading Clean Technology companies.
The magnetic gas free refrigeration technology is now one of Europe's top 100 privately-held clean technology firms, and is ranked top in the category of energy efficiency electrical devices.

The Cambridge firm is being hailed as a 'high growth potential' company capable of delivering a positive impact on the environment.

The refrigeration unit boasts a potential 50% reduction in energy consumption, is gas free, cost competitive, has reduced maintenance, low noise and recyclability.

The firms on the Cleantech 100 list are selected by a board of investors on the basis of marketability, high growth potential, environmental impact and ability to disrupt the market.

'This is real recognition of the impact our technology will have in the marketplace; it is a fantastic boost for our great team and will propel us forward with even more momentum', said Neil Wilson, Camfridge's CEO.

Neil Wilson said the Camfridge is still a minimum of two years away from production.
