Call for papers for 2010 cold chain conference

ORGANISERS of the International Cold Chain Conference - Sustainability and the Cold Chain, are inviting all to submit papers for the 2010 event.
Taking place in Cambridge on March 29-31, 2010, the conference is organised by the Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) and the Sustainable Innovation in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning network (SIRAC).

The conference programme is expected to attract industry speakers, researchers and system designers from around the world. The deadline for submitting expressions of interest in giving papers is September 15, 2009.

Papers based on the following topics are being encouraged:

Refrigerants and refrigeration in the future

Energy efficiency

Sustainable food and pharmaceuticals cold chains

Carbon foot printing for supply chains

Innovative equipment design

Technologies for cold chain monitoring

Refrigeration in retail and in the home

Predictive tools for system optimisation

Food safety and microbiology

International distribution and developing countries

Consumer trends in chilled and frozen products

Quality in the cold chain

Innovative storage and transport systems

Non-food cold chains
