The first of its kind, this conference will take place in person from 10th to 13th August 2025 in Manchester, UK.
As global temperatures rise, the RACHP (refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump) sector faces mounting challenges. This conference will look to address these issues by fostering dialogue and innovation among professionals committed to creating sustainable, climate-resilient solutions.
Organisers are seeking abstracts that highlight case studies, innovations, research, and expert perspectives on topics at the intersection of refrigeration technology and climate change adaptation. Contributions should align with the following themes:
- Managing Risk
- Environmental and Social Governance
- The Future Landscape of RACHP
Key dates are:
- 1st November 2024: Abstract submission deadline
- 1st December 2024: Abstract acceptance and manuscript submission instructions
- 3rd February 2025: Manuscript submission deadline
- 10th March 2025: Notification of acceptance or rejection of manuscripts
- 4th April 2025: Closing date for authors’ revisions to manuscripts
- 10th – 13th August 2025: Conference

The Conference is being organised by the International Refrigeration Committee of the UK Institute of Refrigeration (IOR), on behalf of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). The IOR is the UK professional body and membership association for people working in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pumps. The IIR is an intergovernmental body representing over 60 national governments and involving global experts through its commissions and informatory notes.
