A challenge presented from a recent case study will get delegates thinking about information management. This is followed by a workshop to identify the information requirements needed in operation and how the supply chain can deliver them.
BSRIA is staging its Information Management in FM Event on Friday 5 February, from 9:30 until 13:30 in London and is urging industry to attend.
Delivering information is relatively easy in the digital age but delivering useful information is more challenging. This event is aimed at bringing the facilities management industry together with the construction supply chain. Advancement in Building Information Modelling gives the industry a fantastic opportunity to get information management right from the start for new projects.
The event will provide an introduction into the power of good information and then looks in more detail at what the supply chain is being challenged with and how clients can improve what they ask for.

BSRIA’s networks & events manager, Tracey Tilbry (pictured), said: “Building managers are tasked with the never ending job of keeping up with the demands of the core business. It is advantageous for all those tasked with this to embrace Building Information Management in order to demonstrate the best use of resources and the savings that could be achieved.”
This event, supported by BIFM, is part of a series for BSRIA’s O&M Benchmarking Network which has been running for almost 15 years. It will be held at Thomson Reuters, Canary Wharf, London EC14 5EP.
