BSRIA has announced that its North office in Preston, Lancashire, is open for business.

BSRIA North will service BSRIA members and wider industry based in the north of England, building on the opportunities created by the ‘northern powerhouse’. Following a “volcano of activity” to get the new offices ready, members and clients alike are welcome to call in.
BSRIA’s 2017 programme of training courses will now run for the first time from its Preston premises. Supported by BSRIA’s industry-renowned technical guides, these courses range from introductions for non-engineers or those new to the industry, through to specialist training for practitioners.
This follows the appointment of June Davis as business manager in January 2016, alongside her team of a laboratory managers and technicians.
Ms Davis commented: “I am excited that the BSRIA North office is officially open for business. This will certainly enhance our client base and reputation in the north of England, working with the existing teams within BSRIA. My continued focus is to develop new business opportunities, customers and prospects for BSRIA in the ‘northern powerhouse’.” She continued: “I have been supporting current BSRIA members based in the north of England and I would be keen to see any member or prospective member at our new offices.”
“Instrument Solutions has now expanded its equipment hire, calibration and sales operations into the northern base. We will offer accredited calibrations for measurement parameters such as pressure and temperature, which complements the supply products from the rental fleet as well as from the sales portfolios. In support of BSRIA’s growth aspirations, and to meet customer demand, we have also increased the capacity of our Test House facilities with the transfer north of the weather louvre test rig.”
