JULIAN Brunnock, formerly business development at Daikin UK, has taken over the helm at air conditioning supplier FG Eurofred and promised a better service for distributors.

As sales and marketing director of the UK's Fujitsu air conditioning supplier, Julian will be responsible for redefining the direction of the organisation with a key focus on process and service levels. He will also be responsible for developing the company's position within the UK air conditioning market, paving the way for the introduction of new products over the coming months.

'A few years ago, Fujitsu took the bold step of adopting a dual route to market, with direct sales and distributors,' he told ACR News. 'This was always going to be a difficult balancing act and we have, to be honest, not always got it right. One of my first tasks will be to bring this back into a better balance and improve the service we deliver to our extremely loyal distributor network and their customers.'

Julian Brunnock has worked within the building services industry for more than 25 years, spending the past seven years in a number of senior management positions with Daikin and before that with Lennox.
