Bosch plans take over of Chinese manufacturer Oak

GERMAN heating products manufacturer Bosch Thermotechnology is to acquire Chinese ventilation/air-conditioning systems manufacturer Oak for an undisclosed sum.
Oak manufactures and supplies a wide range of hvac equipment, generating sales of €8m last year. In addition to heat pumps, the company also supplies VRF systems, chillers, fan coils, VAV systems and air handling units. In 2006, Oak acquired the Chinese subsidiary of German air handling unit manufacturer GEA Happel.
