BOC buys Calor's Care business

HYDROCARBON refrigerant supplier Calor has sold its Care business to BOC in a deal valued at under £5m.
The purchase of Calor's Care range of
refrigerants is part of a deal involving its aerosol propellants business, which includes the sales, marketing and distribution of bulk and packaged hydrocarbons (propane, butane and isobutane) blends in the UK.

BOC is already a distributor of packaged Care products in the UK and in some other European and Asian countries. The refrigerants will now be supplied from BOC's blending and filling facilities at Immingham.

Calor employees Loretta Powell, who has been involved with Care refrigerants since their launch, and business development manager Daniel Colbourne will move with the business to BOC.
