Bitzer is once again sponsoring an international youth football tournament in Germany.
The tournament takes place from 14-16 May in Rottenburg. Turn- und Sportverein (TuS) Ergenzingen is organising the international under-19 event, during which players compete for the TuS Ergenzingen Cup, also known as the Bitzer Cup, as Bitzer is the event’s primary sponsor. Eight teams from five European countries compete for the cup, represented by some of their best players.
With its headquarters located in Sindelfingen and its two production facilities in the Rottenburg districts of Ergenzingen and Hailfingen, Bitzer is extremely active in the region. Supporting young people is especially important to the company which sets great store by training positions and fair opportunities. The company also believes that young people should also be challenged and supported outside work, which is why it provides the shirts and other equipment for TuS Ergenzingen, as well as the cup for the tournament.
Koray Ates, chairman of the works council at Bitzer said: “We’re crossing our fingers for the TuS Ergenzingen team, but it’s ultimately about having fun. Bitzer is delighted to be part of such an important event again this year.”
