MARK Sowden is Bitzer UK's new managing director, his appointment part of a management reshuffle that also resulted in Steve Press joining the group as operations manager.
Sowden succeeds Christof Senk who has moved up to a new management position within the Bitzer group in China.
He joined Bitzer UK in 2005 as sales office manager and rose through the ranks to the post of commercial manager and operations manager.
Sowden said 'BITZER is a world leading brand in the field of refrigeration compressor technology.
'Our aim in the UK is to build upon the success of recent years by providing our customers with innovative solutions that meet their precise requirements. I look forward to using the experience I have gained in my career to date to help us achieve these aims and drive the company forward.'
A third appointment sees Steve Angel-Jones become a Bitzer UK sales representative in the south.
