At this year's ACR Show (now taking place at the NEC, Birmingham), BITZER is demonstrating how it continues to develop compressors that meet the demand for high energy efficiency, facilitate close control of the system and exploit the benefits of non traditional refrigerants including CO2, propane and ammonia.
New ECOLINE compressors feature infinite capacity control based on a frequency inverter so that operation can be closely matched to actual cooling requirements. To exploit the benefits of alternative refrigerants, new ECOLINE versions for use with propane are also now available.

The potential for using CO2 in commercial refrigeration systems has long been recognised and BITZER is realizing this potential with its CO2 OCTAGON compressors for transcritical applications. Available with displacements of up to 25.6 cubic metres per hour, these products achieve highly energy efficient operation through close gas flow control, high efficiency working valves and special drive gear geometry.

In the developing area of refrigerated transport, BITZER's new range of ROADSTAR compressors, designed for mobile air conditioning applications, are available as new two or existing four and six-cylinder compressors.

The CSVH Screw Compressor range features intelligent application control software. This helps to provide one of the most energy efficient compressor solutions now available for liquid chiller, heat pump and air conditioning applications.

New ECOSTAR plug and play condensing units represent the optimum refrigeration system for local convenience stores and forecourt retail outlets, ECOSTAR now includes the New ECOLINE compressor, making it an even more versatile solution that is compatible with the full range of conventional refrigerants. ECOSTAR also now has more versatile control software that can analyse operating data.

Established products on show include the Scroll ORBIT 6 Series compressors which are particularly suitable for air conditioning systems and heat pumps. The ORBIT 8 Series for R410A offers outstanding efficiency, smooth running and very low operational sound levels. BITZER condensers and liquid receivers as well as Lodam electronic controls are also highlighted.
