Founded by Barry Birdsall in May 1975 as Birdsall Air Conditioning, the group today comprises three trading companies: Birdsall Decarbonisation, Birdsall Networks, and Birdsall Technical Services.

Throughout the Open Day, presentations charted the organisation’s exciting future and delved back into Birdsall’s 50-year history to tell the Birdsall story. In each decade, Birdsall has been at the forefront of environmental developments, delivering CFC-free air conditioning in the 1980s and 90s, combined heat and power and cooling to reduce carbon emissions in the ’90s & 2000s, and through to today, where the Networks and Decarbonisation businesses specialise in delivering environmental solutions.
