The Warrington-based technical building services provider has created four divisional head roles covering service and maintenance, projects, electrical and air conditioning. Scott Sharples becomes head of projects and Luke O’Keeffe steps up to lead service and maintenance, while James Coote and Craig McLachlan continue in their respective electrical and air conditioning posts.
Each division now has a dedicated technical manager. Janusz Heenan has been promoted to support the service and maintenance operation, with Jim Doyle, Dave Hayes and Keith Kirk joining the business to take on technical management roles across projects, electrical and air conditioning.
The restructure follows a £500,000 investment in new fleet vans, the opening of a head office at Olympic Park in Birchwood and the addition of a 6,000 sq ft fabrication workshop near Warrington town centre. Managing director Rob Ditchfield said the changes form part of a long-term plan to build capacity, standardise service delivery and create clearer progression routes for staff.
Founded in 1990 by Bernard Ditchfield, the family-owned, B Corp-certified company employs 55 people and works across the north west, Yorkshire, the north east and the Midlands. Its client base includes Mitie, Wates FM, Equans, EMCOR UK, Apleona UK, Pilkington, THG, Spire Healthcare and ITV.
Further recruitment is planned in the coming months, including commercial gas service engineers, pipefitters and apprentices. The group strengthened its board last year with the appointment of experienced facilities management leader David O’Byrne as a non-executive director.
