Mr. Lazenby said: “It has been a privilege to contribute to this great industry and conduct business with exceptional individuals, many of whom I consider valued friends. While I will miss my time at Celltherm, I am confident in Andy Bailess' leadership. He possesses the requisite expertise, having served as our technical manager since 2016, to guide the company’s future success. I extend my best wishes to him.”
Mr. Bailess acknowledged Mr. Lazenby’s significant contributions, and said: “It has been an honour to work alongside Michael Lazenby. I am committed to building upon his legacy and steering Celltherm Coldrooms through its next phase of growth. Furthermore, I am pleased to welcome Jordan Smith, who has joined our Celltherm UK team as project engineer.”
This leadership transition follows the recent acquisition of Celltherm Coldrooms and Celltherm Isolierung by AG Capital, an Austrian-based independent investment firm. Bailess will spearhead the UK operational strategy, aligned with AG Capital’s objective to expand the company’s operations through strategic acquisitions and focussed growth.
James Connolly, business development manager, Celltherm Coldrooms, expressed his appreciation, and said:“We all extend our sincere congratulations to Michael on his retirement. We wish Michael and his family the very best for the future. We are equally enthusiastic about Andy Bailess' appointment and anticipate a successful future for Celltherm in the UK and across Europe.”
